An insulin pump is a medical device that provides a continuous supply of insulin to the body without having to give yourself repeated injections & is most typically used (though not always) by individuals with type 1 diabetes. An insulin pump is meant to mimic the action of the pancreas.

Our Huron Perth Diabetes Program is staffed with Certified Diabetes Educators who are also Certified Pump Trainers at our Stratford & Goderich sites. Our Certified Pump trainers will help you prepare for insulin pump therapy & provide ongoing support.
