Classic Guacamole

Yield: 2.5 cups

 

Ingredients:

 

2 large ripe avocados, mashed
1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
½ cup finely minced red onions
½ cup diced tomatoes 
2 tbsp minced fresh cilantro
1 jalapeno pepper seeded & minced or a couple shakes of hot pepper sauce
2 tsp minced garlic
¼ tsp ground cumin
Pinch freshly ground pepper & salt

 

Instructions:

 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving time. Guacamole will keep for 3 days in fridge if well-covered.
